Born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised in Springfield, Mallory spent her early years developing her acting techniques on stage. She quickly learned the value of imbuing every role with a grounded truth to carry through any narrative. Her high school theatre director dubbed her his “comedy secret weapon” for her unquestioning ability to throw herself full-force into any scenario, no matter how ridiculous.

Mallory graduated, with honors, with a BFA in Acting at Syracuse University. During her tenure, she practiced the Linklater, Fitzmaurice, Laban, Lecoq, Clowning, Alexander, and Stanislovski methods as well as some Meisner, and others.

She was lucky enough to spend a semester abroad in London with the Shakespeare’s Globe Higher Education Program, culminating in an abbreviated performance of Much Ado About Nothing on the Globe stage.

Mallory’s final semester of undergrad was spent in NYC as a Tepper Semester participant. She studied on-camera acting techniques with Erica Jensen of the newly renamed Calleri Jensen Davis casting team, voice/dialects with the inventor of IPA pillows, Louis Colaianni, audition techniques with David Caparelliotis of Caparelliotis Casting, and more. The Tepper Semester also provided weekly seminars and workshops from some of New York’s top industry professionals including actors, casting directors, and retired agents.

Since graduating, Mallory has been featured in a handful of student/short films, developed new works with trusted writers, and has been maintaining a positive outlook for the future. Multiple projects Mallory had lined up last year were canceled as a result of the events beginning March 2020.

Mallory is actively seeking representation.
